X-rays are important in dentistry. At your appointment an x-ray or x-rays will probably be taken. If you have a current panographic x-ray (within 6 months) from another dentist, please bring it to your appointment to avoid taking another x-ray.
We will obtain a detailed health and dental history. Different procedures require different types of anesthesia. Your doctor will discuss and help you decide which is better for you. From time to time, surgery will be done on the same day as your consultation due to special circumstances or to accommodate special needs.
At this appointment we will schedule your surgery or further examination, give you pertinent pre-operative instructions, and discuss surgical fees and payment.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany minors to the appointment.
